TRANSLOAD IS WHERE CARGO CHANGES HANDS

Dock to yard, rail to truck, container to chassis, and then some... We run the entire handoff ourselves, on-site, with our own team and equipment.

No subcontractors, no delays, no waiting on the next link in someone else's chain. That means less coordination requirements on your end, and more certainty that it's handled right the first time.

YARD STORAGE WITH ROOM TO MOVE

TGL has the space to stage, store, and hold cargo at real volume — not just pass it through as fast as possible because there's nowhere to put it. That space works alongside every other service we run. Cargo coming off a transload job, sitting between rail moves, or waiting on a breakbulk crew — it's all got somewhere to go, on the same site, under the same team.

Secure and protected

Container, chassis, and equipment staging

Overflow storage during high-volume periods

Long- and short-term yard storage options

TGL Container Depot

BUILT FOR VOLUME, BUILT FOR SPEED

Our Container Depot runs on 13 acres and ranks among the largest full-service container depots in Western Washington. In 2025 alone, we gated in 21,598 TEUs and gated out 21,433 — real volume, moved efficiently, without the bottlenecks that come from outgrowing your own yard.

Speed matters as much as space. Our gate and yard operations are built for some of the fastest truck turn times in the Pacific Northwest, cutting driver wait times and reducing the risk of demurrage-related costs before they start. We also work directly with Husky Terminal, providing both trucking and depot services that support vessel loading operations — giving the terminal a logistics partner that can move at the pace high-volume cargo demands.

On-site storage for empty and loaded containers

Export preparation and Pre-Trip Inspections (PTI)

Container maintenance and repair, including IICL repairs

Direct support for Husky Terminal vessel loading operations

Direct coordination with all transload operations

Fast gate and yard turnaround to minimize driver delays

TGL Chassis Depot

CHASSIS DEPOT — READY WHEN YOUR CONTAINER IS

A container's only as fast as the chassis under it. We store, stage, and maintain chassis on-site, so there's always one ready the moment a container needs to move — no waiting on equipment from somewhere else, no delays stacking up before the job even starts. Because it's on the same property as our transload, rail, and yard operations, chassis availability isn't a separate logistics problem to solve. It's already handled.

On-site chassis storage and staging

Chassis inspection and basic maintenance

2,000+ gate moves/monthly

250+ chassis on-site average

Direct coordination with all transload operations

Fast turnaround!

TGL RoRo

KEEP THEM DOGGIES ROLLIN'

Heavy equipment rolling off a RoRo vessel doesn't have far to go once it hits the ground. From the Port of Tacoma's EB1 gate to our secured yard is a 1.3-mile trip — short enough to keep risk low, and familiar enough that our certified drivers have made the run more times than they can count. That combination matters when you're moving earthmovers, heavy machinery, or oversized equipment: less distance means less exposure, and experienced hands behind the wheel mean it's handled the same careful way every single time. Once it's in our yard, it's secured, accounted for, and ready for whatever comes next — storage, transload, or onward delivery.

Direct RoRo equipment pickup from Port of Tacoma's EB1 gate

1.3-mile transport to our secured yard — one of the shortest hauls in the region

Certified, experienced drivers specializing in heavy equipment moves

Secure on-site storage immediately upon arrival

Direct coordination with all transload operations

TGL Rail Spur

RAIL SPUR — GIDDY UP

Our rail spur runs directly onto TGL property. Rail cars come in, get loaded or unloaded on-site, and cargo moves without an extra truck leg in between. That means less handling, less drayage, and less time between point "A" and your final destination. Whether cargo's coming off a vessel and onto rail, or coming off rail and into our yard for transload or storage, it happens without leaving our property.

Direct rail spur connection to the Port of Tacoma

On-site loading and unloading — no added trucking leg

Rail-to-yard and yard-to-rail transfer for transload or storage

Reduced handling time between port and final delivery

Capacity to support high-volume rail cargo alongside our other services

Direct coordination with all transload operations

BREAKBULK — HANDLING "OUTSIDE THE BOX"

Not everything ships in a container. Steel, machinery, project cargo, oversized equipment — breakbulk freight needs space, the right gear, and a crew that knows how to handle it without damage or delay.

We've got the yard space and the equipment to stage breakbulk cargo properly, and a team that's handled enough of it to know there's no such thing as a "standard" load. Every piece gets assessed and moved the right way, not just the fast way.

Direct port-side access, cutting extra handling and drayage

Heavy and oversized machinery, steel coils, plate, and structural cargo

Project cargo requiring specialized handling or staging

Crane capacity yet to be exceeded

TGL Equipment Servicing

LIKE A WELL-OILED MACHINE

Earthmovers and heavy equipment don't hold up if they sit still too long. Batteries drain, fluids settle, seals dry out. At TGL, we offer scheduled monthly movement and servicing on stored equipment, so machinery stays ready to work the moment it's needed. This is part of how we store heavy equipment in the first place, handled by our own crew as part of our full-treatment service.

New arrival inspection and reporting

Scheduled monthly movement to prevent flat spots, seized components, and fluid settling

Battery maintenance and charging for stored equipment

Visual inspections during each service cycle

Basic fluid and pressure checks

Coordination with owners

TGL Project Volumes

BUILT FOR THE BIG, ONE-OFF JOB

Not every shipment fits neatly into a standard process. Large, one-off project cargo — oversized equipment, bulk material moves, multi-phase jobs — needs space, planning, and a team that can scale up without missing a step. That's exactly what project volumes are built for here. We treat every project job individually, not as an exception to force through our regular workflow. With the acreage, warehouse capacity, and transload capability already in place, taking on a large or complex job doesn't mean disrupting everything else running through the yard — it means putting our full capacity to work for one client at a time.

Large-scale, one-off, or multi-phase cargo projects

Dedicated planning and coordination for non-standard volume or timelines

Access to full yard, warehouse, and transload capacity as needed

Staging and sequencing for complex, multi-shipment jobs

A single point of contact managing the project start to finish

TGL Alaska Barge

FROM OUR YARD TO JUNEAU

Getting cargo to Alaska usually means an extra leg, an extra handler, and an extra delay. Not here. In partnership with Alaska Logistics Services, we run barge service to Juneau straight from our port-side yard — no trucking cargo somewhere else first, no added handoff before it even leaves the dock.

Because the barge connection starts on our own property, cargo headed north can move through transload, staging, or warehousing here first, then load out without ever leaving our care.

TGL Full-Service Transload

ONE TEAM, ONE STOP, ONE BILL

Most shippers juggle a handful of vendors just to move one shipment — a transload company, a warehouse, a chassis provider, a trucking outfit, all sending separate invoices and none of them talking to each other. That's not how we run things. At TGL, one team handles the whole job — transload, breakbulk, depot, warehousing, rail, and everything else your cargo touches — and you get one bill at the end of it.

That means we're not just moving your freight — we're watching over it. One property, one team, start to finish, so you always know exactly where things stand. No guessing, no chasing down updates, no surprises.
